Learn to Play Hockey
This program provides new players an opportunity to learn basic skating and hockey skills. We follow the American Development Model (ADM) developed by USA Hockey, which focuses on age and skill appropriate development in a fun and interactive setting. No prior skating experience is necessary; however, we highly encourage participants complete the Snowplow Level 1 skating course.
When
The program starts on Saturday mornings in mid November, after our fall Try Hockey for Free Day, and runs through February.

Practices
Practices are held once to twice a week (Monday evenings and Saturday mornings) for 1 hour.
Cost
The club fee is $275.00 for the Learn to Play Season.
Additional Costs
Players need to be registered with USA Hockey. At a minimum players will need skates, a helmet with cage/visor, and hockey gloves. Hockey pants, shin guards, shoulder pads, and elbow pads are strongly encouraged. Sticks will be provided by the club for our players, as well as, a practice jersey.
